Post the hullabaloo of Deepika Padukone and Salman Khan's miff there has been grapevine that Deepika would soon be seen romancing Salman Khan.

Apparently Mr Dabangg was a little miffed with the actress after she gave a pass to 'Sultan' and not only this Deeps had allegedly turned down Karan Johar's offer for 'Shuddhi' and opted for Sanjay Leela Bansali's 'Bajirao Mastani' opposite her alleged beau Ranveer Singh instead.

Later, there was a buzz that Salman approached Deepika for an item number in his recent blockbuster Kick, but yet again due to conflict in concept, she turned down the offer as her item number 'Lovely' from HNY was to be released. However, after all the ifs and buts, finally YRF have allegedly managed to bring the pair together.

There were scuttlebutt, that YRF had been wanting to work with Sallu post the success of 'Ek tha Tiger' but the things were not getting materialized.


Howbeit, superstar Salman, has been roped in to play the lead role in Ali Abbas Zafar's next and the rumour has it, that Happy New Year's 'lovely' - Deepika has been considered for the female lead.

Though nothing is official yet, but we hope to see the two gorgeous stars share the screen space!
