An album full of chartbusters - 'The Shaukeens': Yo Yo Honey Singh, Hard Kaur, Mika Singh bring the film's music to life

Akshay Kumar's upcoming film 'The Shaukeens' has a versatile collection of songs from Bollywood's chartbusting musicians that is likely to be the season's biggest hit. India's rap icon Yo Yo Honey Singh, the first female rapper Hard Kaur and others have come together to create an absolute masterpiece of a soundtrack for 'The Shaukeens'.

'The Shaukeens' features an album with six songs, each of which is unique in its own way. Rap icon Yo Yo Honey Singh has composed two songs Manali Trance and Alcoholic, which is a first for any Bollywood movie till date. Both these tracks have gone viral to the extent that they are already topping the charts across television music channels, radio stations and Bollywood websites.

Manali Trance is the first Bollywood music video featuring Mauritius' national dance form 'Sega', and it is also the first time a Yo Yo Honey Singh song has been filmed entirely on a woman. It marks Bollywood's first official entry into trance music.

Ishq Kutta Hai, composed by Vikram Nagi, is a rock number with powerful guitar riffs that blend into melodic sitar notes. Mika Singh's lively voice brings Shabbir Ahmed's lyrics to life. Teri Meherbani, in the voice of Jubin Nautiyal is a beautifully romantic song composed and written by the super talented Arko Mukherjee. Jubin's voice does wonders to this song. This track stands out amongst the others in the album. In stark contrast is the comically sad track Lonely, sung by Anu Malik and written and composed by Vikram Nagi. Although it's along the lines of a break-up song, the audio effects used make it sound more adorable than anything else.

Last but not the least is Aashiq Mizaaj, the film's title track. It's a catchy number that is sure to get anyone's foot tapping. Siddharth Banerjee's lyrics capture the scenario perfectly, bringing to mind the exact storyline of the film. Of course, Aman Trikha's voice is the cherry on top of this Hard Kaur composition.

All in all, The Shaukeens flaunts a great album with multiple genres, big names and fantastic music as one can expect from those big names. With party anthems like 'Alcoholic' and 'Manali Trance' and the love ballad 'Meherbani', the music album of this movie definitely has a lot to offer.
