South star Rana Daggubati is believed to have pulled out of 'One Night Stand' due to prior commitments. Former adult actress, Sunny Leone had been signed opposite Rana in the film which was ready to go on the floors.
A source says, "Since his first Bollywood film ('Zanjeer' remake) did not do well at the box office, he is paying more attention to a career in the South film industry.
Rana has bagged a major role in an ambitious project down South and is currently busy shooting for the same. There was no way he could allot dates to the makers of 'One Night Stand'."
Director Jasmine D'Souza, however, denies Rana having 'walked out' of the film. "We are still finalising things. He had not been signed on; only Sunny Leone has. We did approach him but he expressed his inability to allot us bulk dates.
We respect that. Once things are finalised, we will give you all the details," she adds. Rana's manager reveals that the actor was keen on doing the film.
"He liked the script. We were trying to accommodate the dates but Rana had some prior commitments. He really wanted to do the film and we tried everything possible but it didn't work out," he says, adding that Rana will be seen in ', Bahubali', a two-part Indian epic film, parallelly being filmed in Telugu and Tamil.
