Poonam Khanna, who allegedly cheated actress Sana Khan and her beau Ismail Khan, has been arrested, said an official.

"Yes, she has been arrested and is in police custody right now," said the official from Oshiwara police station.

Sana and Ismail had filed an FIR against Poonam, said to be a media consultant, for duping them of Rs. 9 lakh. If reports are anything to go by, Poonam had promised the two to get them two shanties in a slum that was about to be redeveloped.

Ismail told IANS: "She was absconding, but today (Wednesday) police found her at a hotel here and she was arrested and taken to Oshiwara police station. She will be taken to the court today."
