Shahid Kapoor's chock-a-bloc shoot diary is said to have made director Abhishek Chaubey a restless man. The latter's 'Udta Punjab' was scheduled to go on the floors early next year. But, the actor is unlikely to be available for the project.
A source says, "Abhishek and Shahid had discussed the script and he liked it a lot. However, he has a tight schedule for 2015. After wrapping up the shoot of Shaandar, he will move on to Farzi."
Another source close to Shahid says the actor is keen on doing 'Udta Punjab' but has committed to finish the shoot of Raj and DK's 'Farzi' as it is slated to release mid next year.
"Shahid wouldn't be able to devote time to any other film as Farzi demands him to prepare intensely for his role and look. Clearly, this won't allow him the freedom to juggle the shoot of two films," the source adds. Chaubey was unavailable for comment.
