While ‘Aashiq Banaya Aapne' is still everywhere in the air, Himesh Reshammiya has given music to this Emaran Hashmi starrer that promises to be another big hit. The film has five songs with total of twelve sound tracks in all—and this means—dollops of remix versions to enthral the listener.

The album opens with the song 'Jhalak Dikhlaja', which is followed by its remix version. The ‘unplugged' version comes in the end of the album. 'Laagi Laagi Laagi Prem Dhun Laagi' sung by Sunidhi Chauhan and Reshammiya comes in next.

Delightfully, it too has got a remix and an original version. With a strong melodious base, this love-song has the potential to become the next hit of the season. ‘Laagi Laagi' is followed by a K.K track in which Sunidhi Chauhan sings a passage in English.

Like other songs of this album, this peppy number too has a remix version.

A new comer ‘Tulsi' gets a chance to croon the next song ‘Muhabbaet Ke'. It is adrenalin-churning number that invites you to the dance floor. Its ‘remix' version is sure to be a party favourite in the coming season.

'Loot Jayenge' sung by Kunal Gunjwala and Jayesh Gandhi has the rhythmic beats, which make it gel with the album well. Last but not the least, comes the ‘Aksar' theme song that begins on the notes of a piano.

Gradually, the theme music veers towards a crescendo—but without compromising a bit on the haunting feel. Overall, ‘Aksar' is a good album that can well bank its compositions, fuelled by the lyrics by Sameer.
