Actor Arjun Punj has shared screen space with his wife and actress Gurdeep Kohli in serials like "Sanjivani - A Medical Boon" and "Diya Aur Baati Hum". But instead of being all mushy on the small screen, the couple has always played arch rivals.

The actor says they are only a couple 'off screen'.

"We have always been roped in to portray opposite characters. Actually we are playing a couple off-screen. That's the fun of acting as we get to do different things," the actor told IANS over phone from Mumbai.

The actor, who has also appeared in movies like "Time Pass", is in no hurry to foray on the small screen with his wife as her love interest.

"Don't know if we will get any offer of such kind. If it comes then we will look over it," the actor added.

Arjun is presently seen as an ATS officer in the Star Plus show, while Gurdeep essays the role of a terrorist.
