The victory is all the more special because Asha has become the first Indian to clinch the crown since its inception.
Lara, who had mentored Asha along with other contestants of Yamaha Fascino Miss Diva Universe 2014, took to micro-blogging website to share her ecstasy over the win.
"Congratulations Asha Bhatt!!! Congratulations my beauty!! You do me and your country proud!!! #MissDivaUniverse2014!!!" she tweeted Saturday.
Asha won the crown at an event held in Poland late Friday night.
