A VVIP audience consisting of Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee, Home Minister L.K. Advani, I & B Minister Sushma Swaraj and Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh graced a special screening of Karan Johar's Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham in Delhi on Saturday evening. Karan himself was away, but his father, and the film's producer, Yash Johar, Kareena Kapoor, Hrithik Roshan, Shah Rukh Khan and designer Manish Malhotra were present at the show.
The PM was most amused by Shah Rukh's dialogue in the film, which refers to him.Khan then presented the first copy of the book, The Making of Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, to Mr. Vajpayee saying, "I'd like to add another book to your collection." The Prime Minister reportedly replied, "You are the only one who gives me books." The release of the book is scheduled for December 9, but the film itself will be released on December 14.
