With the handsome Jazzy B and the beautiful Surveen Chawla hosting the show, many artists gave memorable performances at the first episode of these awards. Saleem, Gippy Grewal, Diljit Dosanjh, Badshah, Dr. Zeus and Zora, Mafia Mandeer's Alfaz, Money Aujla and Leo, Unnati Davara, Oshin, Wamiqa Gabbi and Jazzy B himself gave singing and dancing performances with loud cheering of the audience all around. One of the special attractions was tribute to Gurdas Maan by Babbal Rai, Jassi Gill and Prabh Gill. Saleem's father and senior artist Ustad Puran Shah Koti was honored with Lifetime Achievement Award for his priceless contribution to Punjabi music. Jaswinder Bhalla and his old partner Bal Mukund Sharma hold the anchor's seat while Jazzy and Surveen took a break.
