Apparently, Salman Khan would be producing Sooraj Pancholi's debut film, which is a remake of Subhash Ghai's, Jackie Shroff starrer, 1983 hit film 'Hero'. Also, Suniel Shetty's daughter, Athiya Shetty would be in the female lead.

Where on one hand Salman has looked into all highs and lows for the benefit of the film, Salman himself refused to do a cameo in the film. According, to Salman if he does a cameo in the film, the entire focus will shift on him leaving the newbies fall behind.
