Say Fardeen, "Yes I am very happy at the moment and I am enjoying my newly acquired status. Life seems to be a little different now." He added, "Earlier I used to spend more time with my friends but now I try to be home with my love and share every moment with her. I am spending quality time with her."
As far as his films are concerned, Fardeen is enamoured with Indra Kumar's Pyare Mohan in which he is portraying a visually impaired guy in search of love.
"It is one of the best roles in my career so far. I play a blind boy in the film. I am not born blind, but I meet with an accident and go blind. Yet I have a lot of spunk. There are lot of humourous scenes in the film. It is a stable character, an enduring story and a very challenging role," says Fardeen.
"When I did this role I realised what life is truly about. I understood how the visually challenged cope with life without the sense of sight. It was very challenging to essay this role where you have to be constantly alert. You have to show your skills only through sound and touch without using any expression. I had to do a lot of research before accepting this role," says the handsome actor.
"I watched many films made on the visually challenged people. There was one particular film Contact that was very impressive. The hero in the film is visually challenged and has enacted the role without dark glasses. The character stayed with me," he adds.
Fardeen has several films lined up for this year. There's Ambika Hinduja's Idhar-Udhar being co-produced by Ravi Walia and directed by Kunal Shivdasani, an Abbas-Mustan film and another film with Sajid Nadiadwala.
But one thing that is top priority for the handsome star at the moment is burn some calories. "I am definitely going to lose weight and get into good shape. I have let go for the last few months."
