Indian film director Tigmanshu Dhulia, a jury member of My French Film Festival India 2015, says the month-long online movie gala is a great window to French cinema which he has always enjoyed watching.

The film fest will have ten feature and ten short films showing free for all Indian users on curated video-on-demand platform HalfTicket.tv, starting Jan 16, 2015. It will make the movies available for viewing to Indian users, free of cost.

The movies to feature in the fest have all been helmed by the new generation of French filmmakers. Dhulia, who is known for his niche and critically acclaimed Hindi films like "Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster" and "Paan Singh Tomar", will be joining fellow filmmaker Anurag Kashyap on the board of the festival.

Talking about his association with My French Film Festival India 2015, Dhulia said in a statement: "I have, like many others, appreciated French Cinema from early on in my life and hence, I am definitely looking forward to this edition of My French Film Festival India.

"From the stories to the fluidity of the screenplays, French films are always a delight to watch. The month-long festival, with some excellent cinema will be an absolute treat - especially for budding filmmakers, for whom this is the perfect opportunity to learn about and from the films of that part of the world."
