Actor Akshay Oberoi, who was last seen in Bejoy Nambiar's horror film Pizza 3D is riding high these days. He has a mixed bag of interesting projects coming up for him next year. He'll be seen in Abhishek kapoor's Fitoor, in the indo - Brit project Bomberia, and has also scored a special appearance in the upcom ing Deepika Padukone Amitabh Bachchan-Irrfan Khan starrer Piku.

A source said," Akshay's portions with Deepika were shot last week. It's a sequence where Deepika is seen going out on a date with a young man.However, instead of being a romantic outing, it goes horribly wrong. It's a funny sequence which took about two days to wrap up.


Interestingly, the young actor has 2 more big project announcements lined up for the coming year. Looks like someone has already started their new year's celebration.
