John has opted out of Farhan Akhtar's assistant Reema Kagti debutant project ‘Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd.' which is a joint production of Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani. John had to opt out due to date problems.

Says John, "Yes, there is an issue with dates. With Babul's schedule going haywire, I am adjusting my dates. The dates of other films, too, have been pushed back. Right now, my first and only priority is Babul."

Showing displeased about John's last minute opting out, Ritesh said, "There was never any contractual commitment with John. He was never the lead actor, as the story consists of an ensemble cast of 12 actors. As for opting out at the last moment, that's something you will have to ask John."

Honeymoon Travels has a story, script and screenplay by Reema. It will be launched on March 8 before ‘Don' release. The entire cast which already includes Ameesha Patel, Shilpa Shetty, Minissha Lamba, Abhay Deol, Kay Kay Menon, Shabana Azmi, Ranveer Shourie, Sandhya Mridul and Boman Irani would be finalized by next week.
