He further rubbed in the insult by saying that the actor's name should be mentioned in The Guinness Book of World Records for starring in a string of flops. Abhishek later took to a microblogging site and said that Prahlad Kakar was a comedian, not an ad-filmmaker. He added that when Kakar features his own son in commercials, he didn't have the right to poke fun at him.

A verbal war ensued when De tweeted about the actress' detention at the city airport for carrying undeclared gold and diamond jewellery while returning from the Cannes Film Festival.
