Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has hurt his finger while trying to sweep pieces of broken glass.

Bachchan, 72, who is currently busy with the promotions of his upcoming film 'Shamitabh', said he cut his finger while sweeping the glass away.

"Umff! A crucible carrying my medication slipped out and smashed on the ground! Glass all over! Swept it aside... finger cut! The kite finger cut had just healed when there was fresh blood all over... Sounds gruesome no??? OK no more...," he posted on Twitter.


The 'Yudh' star also remembers his late father Harivansh Rai Bachchan as he mourns his 12th death anniversary.

"It is the death anniversary of my Father. When you think of those moments it sends shivers, apprehensions, prayer and remembrance to the one departed, especially when it happens to be your own father..," he added.
