Director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra is living up to his reputation of being a disciplinarian. He has apparently warned the lead pair of his next film, Mirziya, against socialising until the shoot is wrapped up. In a nutshell, it is no drinking and no late nights for Harshvardhan Kapoor and Saiyami Kher for the next few months.
A source says, "The director has adopted a unique style for shooting his first ever love story and has laid down a few rules for the actors. They have been strictly asked to refrain from partying."
The team has been shooting 14 to 16 hours a day for the past one month in Rajasthan where the temperature often dips below the zero degree mark.
The team has also been fiercely guarding details of the shoot. So far, only an image of Saiyami riding a horse led by Harshvardhan in Udaipur has been leaked on social media.
A source says, "Rakeysh is a taskmaster and as it's the debut for both the actors, he doesn't want them to take it easy."
The film's spokesperson confirms the news about the rules being imposed on the lead pair.
Mind the rules
1. After the shoot wraps up, the principal actors should not mingle or interact with each other.
2. They should not consume alcohol on the sets. No party allowed.
3. They should reach the sets for rehearsals two hours prior to the shoot.
