Mega superstar Amitabh Bachchan leads the pack of film personalities who have not paid Income Tax dues.According to Minister of State for Finance Balasaheb Vikhe Patil, there are 132 film personalities that owe the government income tax in excess of Rs 1050 million. The minister made this statement in the Parliament.
The overwhelming list includes film personalities like Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Subhash Ghai, Ram Gopal Verma and Yash Johar.While Amitabh Bachchan`s ABCL owes the highest due of Rs 177.693 million, the star himself has not paid Rs 106.716 million. His wife Jaya also owes Rs 19.952 million.
