Mallika Sherawat-starrer "The Dirty Politics", which was earlier slated to release Feb 13, will now hit the screens March 6, which happens to be Holi. The reason behind the delay is to avoid a clash with other films, and to record one more song.

The film's director K.C. Bokadia told IANS: "Earlier my film was supposed to release on Feb 13, but since my song 'Ghaghra' is doing really well, we have decided to record one more song for this film. So, Mallika will be shooting for this song on Feb 13, 14 and 15."

Bokadia says March 6 gives them a "good window" due to the festival of Holi, which also falls on the same day.

"It's better to release your film separately than to have two to three releases the same day," he said.

The director also clarified that Mallika will not be shooting an item song for the movie, and that it will be a situational number.
