Bollywood star Sonam Kapoor, who was hospitalised about three days ago after suffering from respiratory infection on the sets of 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo' at ND Studio in Karjat, was discharged on Monday from Kokilaben Ambani hospital in Mumbai.
Sonam, who last appeared on the big screen in 'Dolly ki Doli', tweeted an image of her in the hospital on Monday evening. She wrote on the micro-bloggin site, "Hate being sick... Oowie."
A source close to the actress said, "She started getting nausea and uneasiness on the sets. She was immediately rushed to Mumbai and admitted to the hospital."
Another friend of the actress said, "The doctor has told us that it was like an asthma attack and the condition was severe respiratory infection, which led to whizzing and uneasiness, for which she was treated."
Sonam was shooting solo for the film when she suffered the attack.
The actress, accompanied by her managers, is set to return to the sets today to continue shooting for the Sooraj Barjatya-directed film.
