Says the director of Dilliwaali Zaalim Girlfriend, Japinder Kaur, "We met him regarding making a song that was situational of a club birthday track. He loved the idea and since he is the king of club tracks, it was a theme that absolutely required a Honey touch and he thought it would be big for sure. After completing the song he told me, I've given you a formula hit."
