Another blow came in the form of beau, Salman Khan's one-year imprisonment sentence for the poaching of a wild life species and to make the things worse she got robbed in Dubai.
The theft took place while she was in Dubai shooting for Feroz Nadiadwala's Welcome. Cash and valuables worth 90,000 dollars was stolen from her room at the Grand Hyatt while she was away shooting. She later launched a complaint with the Dubai police.
Tells Katrina, "After pack-up was announced, I went up to my room and found that it had been ransacked. I asked my co-star Akshay Kumar to find my valuables but our search proved unfruitful and finally we informed the hotel management."
Kaif is deeply disturbed by the robbery of her possessions because some of the items stolen had sentimental value and were gifted to her by Salman. However, she maintains that her filming schedules are continuing as planned and have not been disrupted. She hopes that the police will manage to nab the culprits.
About the critical reviews of her performance, Kat retorts, "I don't think the critics panned me for my performances. In both the films I had very little to do, and whatever I did, wasn't an Oscar-winning performance. It was not even worth mentioning. But frankly speaking, I don't take these random reviews seriously."
Katrina, at the moment, is eagerly awaiting for the release of her films Humko Dewaama Kar Gaye and Welcome, which she allegedly bagged due to her association with Salman.
Remind her of any such connection and she fires back, "What rubbish! Give me one good reason why a producer would invest Rs 25 to 30 crores in a film with me if he is unsure about me. I don't think Salman is responsible for the films I am doing."
