Right 'hear' right now......While Karan Johar has been extremely busy shooting his new film Kabhi Alvidaa Na Kehna he also seems to be doing an incredible amount of anchoring work at the awards functions.

And why not? Karan is one of the most popular and fluent conversationalists in Bollywood.

To no one's surprise he anchored a major segment of the Filmfare awards on Saturday with cool aplomb....He also presided as the judge on Sony's Indian Idol where he shared 'scream' space with Will Smith.

Just one hitch. Karan's voice seemed to have changed.

"The doctors have diagnosed it to be laryngitis. I'm getting over it. But I sound like someone completely different. What am I supposed to do? Now I'm supposed to host the Zee awards at Mauritius on Saturday. I don't know how I'll do it!" wails Karan.

Karan can seem comfort in the company of Arjun Rampal, Mallika Sherawat and Kokona Sen-Sharma who would be co-hosting the Zee event with him in Mauritius.
