There are whispers in Bollywood corridors about Raveena Tandon being all hot and bothered about the sexual content in her next film, which is said to be loosely based on the life of assassinated Pakistani Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto.
A source says, "Raveena has been in touch with the scriptwriter. She sat through the narration and asked for toning down the bold scenes. Once the final script is ready, she will be called for another round of narration after which the makers will launch their hunt for a director."
Sources suggest the intimate scenes might be based on Bhutto's alleged involvement with a high profile cricketer with whom she allegedly shared a close relationship while studying at the Oxford University in the early '70s. An insider says the actress went to the UK for a meeting with the make-up artist working on the film. Adds the source, "A few looks have been worked out for her. She will try them and see what suits the role best. If everything falls in place, she will give her final nod to the film."
Raveena remained unavailable for comment.
