So when Deepika Padukone and Anushka Sharma - rumoured to be Ranveer Singh's current ladylove and ex-flame respectively - recently came face-to-face, one expected them to either look away or look through each other.

However, disregarding general notions of past-present tension, the duo put up more than a friendly front. Deepika's sudden gesture may have taken Anushka by surprise, but this was her way to laud the latter's latest film.

Anushka laughed off the incident and played along for the cameras. At Manish Malhotra's fashion show, when Deepika was questioned about the PDA, she was quoted saying, "One is always happy when people from the fraternity do well. I am happy for her and I am happy her film is doing well."

Interestingly, Kalki even got on to a social networking site to express her displeasure over Huma's name being dragged into her and Anurag's split. She posted: "Jesus Christ can we please leave Huma alone?! My problems with Anurag have nothing to do with her!"
