Madame Tussauds London will celebrate 15 years of Bollywood by unveiling the Katrina Kaif wax statue over the weekend.

Katrina Kaif has become the eighth Bollywood actor to be honoured with a figure at Madame Tussauds London - her inclusion has a special significance as she was voted for by fans, just as Amitabh Bachchan was in 2000.

Katrina, who collaborated closely with the Madame Tussauds artistic team to ensure total accuracy, was delighted with the figure, which is portrayed in a dancing pose wearing a beautiful sequined white, silver and gold two piece outfit.

Katrina's figure was created by a team of 20 sculptors and artists over a four month period, using hundreds of precise measurements taken at a sitting in Mumbai and cost Pound 150,000 to create.

The other Bollywood actors at Madame Tussauds London are Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Madhuri Dixit Nene.
