In an interview with Mumbai Mirror, Sonam Kapoor has shared her strong opinions on feminism. Recently the My Choice video directed by filmmaker Homi Adajania, starring Deepika Padukone, went viral online. When asked what she thought about its portrayal of feminism, Sonam retorts, "Elitist women have always had wrong ideas about feminism. They think male-bashing... hating men...makes you a true feminist. I don't have to make a video to voice my opinions. My actions have always spoken louder than my words. I'm proud to be a woman and I respect my independence. I'm never afraid to give my opinion on any matter. That's what feminism is about."

The actress has always been vocal about her thoughts and doesn't shy away from calling a spade, a spade.

According to a report on Bollywooddhamaka.com, the style icon Sonam Kapoor is all set to gift her first Rheson collection to mother Sunita Kapoor. Reportedly, along with her sister Rhea Kapoor, Sonam recently announced Rheson, their high street fashion brand in association with a retail store. Sonam has already started work on the designs, with a few outfits soon going in for production. But before it hits the market, Sonam has decided to gift the first creation, a kurta-trouser look, to mother Sunita Kapoor, the report concluded.
