The versatile singer completed recording a romantic number for the upcoming love thriller

Sonu Nigam has enthralled his audiences for long now. The praises for his work have been pouring in from all the quarters of the country. He is best remembered for Kal Ho Na Ho, Yeh Dil Deewana and most recently Abhi Mujhme Kahin. He has just completed recording a song for upcoming movie DNA Of Love.

Sonu Nigam is known for his soft, melodious voice to which many compare him to the likes of Mohammed Rafi.

According to the sources, Sonu sang a song for DNA Of Love, directed by Amit Kasaria. Amit wanted a sweet romantic number in his movie as the movie itself is a love story. It's a hard hitting emotional song that's written and composed by Swaransh Mishra, son of music legend Saajan Mishra and a close relative of Baiju Maharaj.

Swaransh was thrilled after working with Sonu. It was like a dream come true for him. The kind of energy that he brought while recording got the whole team going.


Amit says, "He's a thorough professional. Not just a good processional, but also a good human being. There's only one Sonu Nigam". About the song he says, "All I can say is that its a very strong and emotional song. It will touch everyone's heart."

DNA Of Love stars Adhyayan Suman and Hasleen Kaur. The movie is set to go on floor in May.
