"I am really happy that people are enjoying the film...they are clapping and whistling on every dialogue," the actor said at Gaiety Galaxy cinema hall here on Friday.
"I never thought that I will get this kind of release ever," he added.
Jay's other projects like "Desi Kattey" and "Hate Story 2" failed to strike a rapport with the audience and didn't make a mark at the box office. This makes "Ek Paheli Leela" more special.
"My main concern was whether I watch the film or not but audience watch the film. I am happy that theatres have 75 percent occupancy and audiences are loving the film," he said.
Directed by Bobby Khan, "Ek Paheli Leela", which also features Sunny Leone and Rajneesh Duggal, was released April 10.
