According to a report on Hindustantimes.com, Sunny Leone, who is rising the temperature this summer with Ek Paheli Leela thinks that she will never win an award because of her past. However, the actress loves to attend award functions, stated the report. Sunny was quoted saying that there are a lot of people in the industry who don't like her and wouldn't want her to win an award. Reportedly, she made a resolution this year to get out of the house and socialise more, attend functions. She feels good when someone whom she knows gets an award and doesn't feel jealous about it, the report concluded.

According to reports, Congress spokesman, Abhishek Manu Singhvi, irked former Jammu & Kashmir Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah, when he tweeted questioning the presence of Sunny Leone in mainstream Bollywood films. Abhishek's tweet read, "V shd be careful that western rejects like sunny leone are not allowed to epitomise indian culture or acquire the status of a Bollywood icon." [sic] Abdullah slammed Congress spokesman over his twitter remark and wrote, "I thought this was a fake handle but seems not. What the hell possessed him to tweet this???" [sic]

According to a report on IANS, Sunny Leone will be hosting reality show, MTV Splitsvilla,again. The actress had successfully hosted the last season and now she seems all set to be back with the show's eighth instalment. TheEk Paheli Leelastar had reportedly expressed happiness over the show's TRPs last year and apparently could not say 'no' when approached by MTV to host the show again. The diva has already hinted at more love and romance in the upcoming season and also insisted that she is excited to return to the small screen.
