Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi has released the trailer of 'Azhar', the upcoming biopic on former India skipper Mohammad Azharuddin.
On Thursday, the makers had unveiled the film's motion poster.
The film will narrate the highs and lows of Azharuddin's life as the captain of the Indian cricket team for most of the 1990s and being tainted by a match-fixing scandal in 2000, and getting banned for life.

Earlier, the makers had released a video clip of Azhar training Emraan as part of prepping for the film.
The film also features Prachi Desai as Azhar's first wife Naureen, and Nargis Fakhri as his second wife Sangeeta Bijlani.

Directed by Tony D'Souza, 'Azhar' is jointly produced by Balaji Motion Pictures and MSM Motion Picture.
'Azhar' is slated for release on May 13.
