The Story & Script
The narrative picks up exactly where the franchise thrives—in a dizzying web of white lies and mistaken identities. Jass (Gippy Grewal) finds himself secretly married to Sargun Mehta's character, a sharp and independent woman. The catch? Jass hasn't gathered the courage to inform his notoriously volatile, hyper-suspicious father, Advocate Dhillon (Jaswinder Bhalla).
To buy time, Jass drafts his loyal, equally clueless circle—Goldy (Binnu Dhillon), Honey (Gurpreet Ghuggi), and Jeona (Karamjit Anmol)—into a cover-up scheme. The script, penned by Naresh Kathooria, shifts into high gear when Jass's son Shinda (Shinda Grewal) unknowingly lets slips fragments of the truth. Smeep Kang proves once again that when it comes to orchestrating large-scale comedic chaos, his grip is unmatched. The screenplay is written like a relentless assembly line of punchlines and running gags. The first half moves at a breakneck speed, setting up the layout of the house and the overlapping lies.
While the second half does feel slightly repetitive—as the film occasionally recycles familiar tropes from Carry On Jatta 2 and 3—the momentum never completely drops. Kathooria’s dialogues are incredibly sharp, loaded with local Punjabi idioms and meta-jokes that reference the franchise's own long-standing legacy.
Performances
Jaswinder Bhalla: Bhalla is the absolute soul of this franchise, and in part 4, he is in legendary form. His trademark dialogue delivery and deadpan frustration anchor the madness. His iconic one-liners—especially his exasperated banter with Gippy and Binnu—receive roaring applause in the theater.
Gippy Grewal & Sargun Mehta: Gippy handles the physical comedy and nervous energy with effortless, seasoned charm. Sargun Mehta fits beautifully into the madness, bringing a radiant screen presence and great comic timing that perfectly matches the franchise veterans.
Binnu Dhillon & Gurpreet Ghuggi: The duo remains a comedic powerhouse. Binnu’s expressive facial expressions during the cross-interrogations are gold, while Ghuggi provides the film's funniest deadpan observations.
Shinda Grewal: Shinda is a massive standout, playing the tech-savvy, blunt next-generation kid whose innocent truths constantly dismantle his father's elaborate lies.
