"Double the Arshad, Double the Mayhem": Arshad Warsi Steps into His First-Ever Double Role in 'Jeevan Bheema Yojana' Trailer!
The official trailer for the quirky crime-comedy thriller Jeevan Bheema Yojana has officially been unveiled, marking a landmark career milestone as Arshad Warsi takes on his first-ever double role on the big screen.

Directed by Abhishek Dogra (Dolly Ki Doli, FryDay) and produced by Starbeam Ventures Limited, the film weaves together dark situational humor, mistaken identities, diamond smuggling, and life-insurance scam conspiracies. The dark comedy is scheduled to hit cinemas worldwide on Friday, September 4, 2026.

The Story of Jeevan, Bheema, and Yojana

The trailer introduces a chaotic collision of two starkly contrasting worlds:

The Debt-Ridden Common Man: Arshad plays Jeevan, an ordinary, financially strained family man struggling to clear overwhelming debts. Supported by his sharp-witted wife Yojana (played by Sanjeeda Shaikh), the couple considers an insurance scheme scheme to escape their money troubles.

The Ruthless Lookalike: Enter Bheema, an unpredictable, dangerous criminal doppelgänger. When their identities get entangled, an ordinary financial trick quickly spirals into a lethal crossfire involving gangsters, corrupt cops, and missing diamonds.

Theatrical Release Corridor

Previously slated for late August, the makers locked September 4, 2026 as the final theatrical date:

The release provides a dedicated early-September window ahead of the heavy mid-month lineup featuring Haiwaan (September 11) and Daayra (September 18).

The film marks one of the final on-screen appearances of the beloved Marathi and Hindi comedy veteran, the late Atul Parchure.

Trade Verdict:

Arshad Warsi returning to his natural strength in character-driven situational comedy—elevated by the chaos of a double role and seasoned comic actors like Vijay Raaz and Brijendra Kala—gives Jeevan Bheema Yojana strong word-of-mouth potential. The trailer promises a fast-paced, laugh-out-loud caper kicking off the September box-office calendar.
