Salim Khan was rushed to the hospital on Tuesday, February 17, after experiencing high blood pressure and "jerks."
The Procedure: On Wednesday, he underwent a Digital Subtraction Angiography (DSA)—a minimally invasive procedure to address the hemorrhage. Doctors clarified that it was a "procedure," not an open surgery.
Ventilator Status: Dr. Jalil Parkar confirmed that Salim Khan was placed on ventilator support. However, he stressed this was a "safeguard" to prevent his condition from worsening during investigations, rather than a sign of him being "critical."
Current Status: He remains stable and under observation in the ICU. Given his age (90), doctors noted that the recovery process will naturally be slower.
