Continuing her mission to make Pilates more accessible across India, renowned celebrity Pilates instructor and wellness entrepreneur Namrata Purohit has launched her newest Pilates studio in Kaloor, Kochi in partnership with Aashna Jain. Marking another milestone in her steadily expanding network of studios, the new space brings Namrata's signature approach to mindful movement and sustainable wellness to one of South India's fastest-growing fitness communities.
The launch is the result of a shared vision between Namrata and Aashna, whose own fitness journey began with a passion for health and wellness through her fitness blog. Recognising a growing appetite for Pilates in Kochi and the absence of a dedicated studio experience, Aashna saw an opportunity to create a space where people could discover the discipline in its truest form. Partnering with Namrata, whose approach has played a pivotal role in shaping India's Pilates landscape, was a natural step towards bringing that vision to life.
Speaking about the launch, Aashna shares, “I’ve always been passionate about fitness - it started with a blog, long before this studio existed. When I saw the gap for a proper Pilates studio in Kochi, I knew there was no one better suited to bring it to life than through Namrata’s philosophy and expertise.”
Sharing her excitement, Namrata adds “It is so exciting to be in Kochi. Kochi is a growing market and an emerging fitness hub, and it felt like the right time to bring the Pilates magic here.”
Spread across 1,200 sq. ft., the studio has been thoughtfully designed to welcome everyone, from beginners to experienced practitioners. Equipped with 12 state-of-the-art Pilates machines, the space features airy interiors, abundant natural light, calming colours, and dedicated lounge and locker facilities. A fully stocked fuel bar serving coffee, snacks, and health drinks completes the experience, creating a space that's as much about community as it is about fitness.
More than just another studio, the Kochi launch reflects a larger shift in how people are choosing to approach fitness. As more individuals move away from quick fixes and towards mindful, sustainable movement, Namrata Purohit continues to create spaces that make Pilates approachable, enjoyable, and accessible. With every new studio, her vision remains the same: to help more people build strength, move with confidence, and make wellness a lasting part of everyday life.
