When two of Indian cricket’s most popular stars are asked about their single days and female fan following? On Family Full House with Rohit Sharma, Maniesh Paul put Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan on the spot with a question about who had more female fans when they were both single. What followed was a playful exchange, with Shikhar calling Rohit “cute” and Rohit laughing off his diplomatic response.

Maniesh Paul asked, “Jab dono single the, toh kis ke around sabse zyada female fans hoti thi?”

Rohit Sharma picked Shikhar as the one who had more female fans. Shikhar, however, turned the question around with a compliment for Rohit, saying, “I think that in India, especially Indian girls, love cute looks more, so Rohit is cute.”

Rohit was quick to call out his friend’s carefully worded response, saying, “Bada diplomatic answer de rahe ho idhar.”

Noticing Rohit slowly moving away while Shikhar was answering, Maniesh added another layer to the conversation and asked, “Jaise-jaise Gabbar yeh baat keh rahe the, aap dheere-dheere ‘haan haan’ karke side hote ja rahe the. Yeh sharmaana kyun?”

Clarifying that he was not embarrassed, Rohit explained why he was laughing at Shikhar’s answer, saying, “Sharma nahi raha hoon. Bhai, main iske jawaabon pe hans raha tha yaar. Kyunki itne diplomatic answers de raha hai yeh ki ‘cute sa tha’, yeh tha, woh tha.”

Just when the banter seemed to be settling down, a fan from the audience joined in and shouted, “Rohit bhai aap bhi cute ho.”

Taking the compliment in his stride, Rohit wrapped up the exchange with a reminder that both cricketers have moved on from their single days, saying, “Aree koi baat nhi yaar. Aree Bhai, lekin dono abhi shaadi-shuda hain aur kaafi khush hain.”
