Salman Khan visits Dharmendra amid health concerns!
Bollywood superstar Salman Khan was spotted at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai on Sunday evening, where he visited veteran actor Dharmendra, who has been admitted following reported breathing difficulties.

Salman, who shares a long-standing friendship with the Deol family, was seen inside his car as it navigated a crowd of photographers outside the hospital premises.

The actor has often expressed admiration for Dharmendra — a bond that extends both on and off screen. The two appeared together in the 1998 romantic comedy Pyaar Kiya Toh Darna Kya, also starring Kajol.

A five-decade bond between the Deols and the Khans

Dharmendra’s association with the Khan family goes back over fifty years. The connection began when Salman’s father, Salim Khan, co-wrote the legendary 1975 blockbuster Sholay, in which Dharmendra played the iconic role of Veeru.

Since then, both families have maintained a deep respect and affection for each other, often seen at family gatherings and industry celebrations.

Family statement: “Dharmendra is stable and under observation”

Earlier in the evening, Sunny Deol and his son were also photographed arriving at the hospital. The family has been keeping Dharmendra’s health updates private, urging fans not to believe unverified social media reports.

While some outlets reported that Dharmendra was briefly placed on ventilator support due to respiratory complications, Sunny Deol’s team clarified in an official statement that the veteran star is “stable and under observation”, adding: “We request everyone to pray for his speedy recovery and respect our family’s privacy during this time.”

Dharmendra’s enduring presence in cinema

At 89, Dharmendra continues to remain active in the film industry. He was last seen in Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya (2024) and is set to appear next in Sriram Raghavan’s Ikkis, alongside Agastya Nanda.

Over his illustrious career spanning more than six decades, Dharmendra has gifted Indian cinema with numerous classics including:
🎬 Sholay (1975), Phool Aur Patthar (1966), Chupke Chupke (1975), Seeta Aur Geeta (1972), and Dharam Veer (1977).

His recent performance in Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani (2023) earned him both critical acclaim and immense love from fans across generations.

Fans continue to pray for his recovery

Messages of love and prayers continue to pour in on social media, with fans recalling Dharmendra’s timeless charm, humility, and contribution to Hindi cinema.

As per the latest verified updates, the actor remains stable under medical observation at Breach Candy Hospital. The Deol family is expected to issue a formal update later this week.
