The 'True Grit' star Hailee Steinfeld stars as the recluse poet Emily Dickinson in the upcoming Apple T.V series 'Dickinson'. Steinfeld will play a young, rambunctious individual whose heart is set on being a great writer.
Her parents worry about their wild daughter, afraid she doesn't know the ways of a lady. She, however, is not interested. She refuses to be a prisoner of conventional society and seeks alternative avenues to live life. We get a glimpse into circus theatrics, some of her famous poems, and perhaps a burgeoning romance with Sue Gilbert (Ella Hunt).
'Dickinson' is created by Alena Smith and stars Hailee Steinfeld, Ella Hunt, Anna Baryshnikov, Adrian Enscoe, Toby Huss, and Jane Krakowski. Currently, without a release date, it will be available to stream on Apple T.V eventually.
