Do Little's 'Carmel Laniado' has joined the Witcher S2 as Violet
The Witcher has already proved a big hit for Netflix, and with a second run confirmed, the show is pushing ahead with casting for the next series. Laniado looks set to play Violet, `whose playful and whimsical demeanour is a front for a smarter and more sadistic character`.

Carmel Laniado, who can currently be seen starring opposite Robert Downey Jr. in Dolittle, will reportedly join the show in a supporting role. Laniado also appeared in the recent BBC adaptation of A Christmas Carol playing Young Lottie.

Based on the best-selling fantasy series, The Witcher is an epic tale of fate and family. Geralt of Rivia, a solitary monster hunter, struggles to find his place in a world where people often prove more wicked than beasts. But when destiny hurtles him toward a powerful sorceress, and a young princess with a dangerous secret, the three must learn to navigate the increasingly volatile Continent together.
