Singer Pharrell Williams found his `Spongebob Squarepants` socks so comfortable that he had a new pair made for him in cashmere.

The `Happy` hitmaker is a big fan of the yellow cartoon character and spin-off merchandise on it. So he decided to have some more socks made, but in a more luxurious material.

`I love 'Spongebob Squarepants' toe socks so much that I had a cashmere pair made,` contactmusic.com quoted Williams as saying.

And Spongebob Squarepants isn't the only cartoon character the 36-year-old star likes.

`I wear Mickey Mouse slippers around the house,` he said.
