If recent buzz pertaining to this sensuality icon is to be believed, then an arrest warrant against her has been issued by Vadodara district court on the charges of obscenity. -
What's the case?
The directions of the court has come in wake the Baroda Bar Association's former president, Narendra Tiwari's complaint which he has filed under sections 294 and 114 of IPC and has also sought a non-bailable warrant against Mallika over her allegedly 'obscene' dance performance at a New Year's Eve party held in Mumbai.

What Ms Sherawat has to say about it?
In the case which dates back to 2006, Ms Sizzling Sherawat tried to defend herself by filing a petition before the High Court after a Vadodra court sent her summons in 2007.
However, the Gujarat High Court rejected it on March 2 for quashing a summon. -
What Next?
If reports are to be believed then in the past court issued directions to, Mallika to appear before it on July 6. But neither Mallika nor her lawyer paid any heed to it, hence compelling the court to issue a warrant against her.
And if Mallika misses next date too, then probably court will issue a non-bailable warrant against her and term her as an absconder. -
What if Mallika is found guilty?
If Mallika is found guilty under the offence, then probably she will have to undergo a jail term which may extend up to three months or fine or both.
