The Music
scores for the film are being put up by the Oscar winning music composer of our country AR Rahman with Swanand Kirkire penning down the lyrics.

Chitti Chitti Bang Bang !
Rajnikant himself stated that the concept of the film is absolutely new to the Indian screens and therefore a synopsis of the story line highlights that the film is about an invention that is a robot named Chitti
Chitti is meant for the welfare of society but things go amiss when Chitti is infested with human emotions and he eventually falls in love, coming in the way of his mission. -
Release
After meticulous filming and production for over two years, the film is currently undergoing post-production work. It is expected to be released worldwide on 24 September 2010.

Three versions
The film will be released in its dubbed versions: Robot in Hindi and Robo in Telugu. The film release will follow the film's soundtrack release, which was on 31 July 2010.
