Very soon we will get to see mother-daughter duo, veteran actress Tanuja and versatile actress Kajol on-screen.
First time for both

For the very first time, Kajol and Tanuja are going to share screen space. Tanuja will be playing mother to her daughter Kajol in the film, titled, Toonpur Ka Superhero to be directed by Kireet Khurana.
All in the family

Toonpur Ka Superhero will be a family film as actor Ajay Devgan will also be seen playing the lead role.
Discerning Kajol

Talking about the casting coup, director Kireet said, 'It`s just the way we had planned and visualised it at the script level. After Ajay`s instantaneous `yes` after reading the script, we wanted Kajol to act alongside him.

I was told that Kajol is discerning about choosing the scripts which was perfectly understandable for an actor of her caliber.'
After daughter, the mother

After hearing the script, Kajol agreed to play the role and the director instantly thought to cast Tanuja in the cameo.

Apparently, Tanuja and Kajol share a great mom-daughter rapport. They would always be chatty on the sets and happy to be together like long-lost friends.
