Bollywood filmmakers have tried every genre to make a hit film. From romance, comedy, horror, biopics, sports or women-centric films, everything has been tried by them and they have eventually succeeded in their plan, but genre which is surely expanding itself is the horror genre as many big filmmakers and film stars are trying their hands with this genre. In 2007 released 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa' Vidya played the character of a possessed woman. The film was a mix of horror and comedy which also starred Akshay Kumar, Ameesha Patel, Shiney Ahuja and Paresh Rawal.

Swara Bhaskar
Swara Bhaskar who is known for her versatility has also tried her hands in the horror genre. In 2014 released 'Machhli Jal Ki Rani Hai', Swara has played a character which is possessed by evil spirit. The film was not up to the mark and failed to impress the audience.

In 2004 Isha Koppikar has played a ghost's character in Krishna Cottage. The film failed to create magic on Box-Office.

Konkona Sen Sharma
Konkona Sen Shram a versatile actress and filmmaker played a ghost in 'Ek Thi Daayan'. The film was released in 2013, it also starred Emraan Hashmi, Huma Qureshi, and Kalki Koechlin. Though the film failed to impress the larger audience Konkona left her impression on audience's mind as a ghost.

The charming Adah Sharma started her acting career with Vikram Bhatt's '1920' a hit horror movie, which changed the dimensions of the horror genre in Bollywood. She was also nominated for Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut.

If we say that Bipasha is the queen of horror genre then it won't be wrong as she has probably done the maximum number of horror movies. It all started with Raaz series and then the list goes on and on. Her last release was 'Alone', which got released in 2015 and Bipasha played a ghost in it.
