Recently, Kangana Ranaut approached the Bombay High court challenging the notice issued by BMC for the demolition of her illegally constructed bungalow in Bandra. The Bombay high court issued a notice putting a stay on the demolition process. Shah Rukh Khan
In 2015, BMC officials and police reached near Shah Rukh Khan's bungalow 'Mannat' at Bandra West to knock down the parking ramp outside his abode. The letter of demolition was sent by BJP MP from Mumbai north-central Poonam Mahajan, who stated that the actor uses this ramp to greet his fans, adding that it had become a nuisance and also disturbed the neighbours.

Rishi Kapoor
The late actor Rishi Kapoor was also served with the show cause notice of BMC for breaching its permission to trim branches of the banyan tree inside his luxurious Krishna Raj bungalow at Bandra's Pali Hill. The actor was given permission to trim the six branches of the tree but it was found that the branches were reduced to its trunk.

Priyanka Chopra
Priyanka Chopra faced the wrath of BMC in 2018 for the unauthorized construction at the commercial premise that was rented out at Oshiwara in Andheri West. The civic body also found contraventions while checking the adjoining premise, which is used as an office by the Chopra family, at Vastu Precinct building.
