The year 2020 has been a roller-coaster ride for the entire world including the businesses that faced a huge backlash. The entertainment industry also went through a bad phase when some of the TV Shows had to pull off-air due to their unsatisfying place in the market. Some of the shows ended on their due time while some of them had to taken off-air as they failed to entertain. So here is the list of some of the Indian TV shows that ended in 2020 -
Beyhadh 2 featuring Jennifer Winget, Shivin Narang and Ashish Chaudhary premiered on 2 December 2019 on Sony Entertainment Television. The first season was quite thrilling while the second one failed to deliver the excitement and pulled off-air due to the lockdown in March 2020.
Star Plus musical drama series Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala aired from 19 March 2018 to 7 February 2020 that starred Aakriti Sharma, Mohit Malik, Anjali Dinesh Anand and Myra Singh.The show initially got high TRP ratings but later ended due to its declining performance.
Star Plus drama show Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke was the most popular show of 2020 that recieved much love from the audience. It featured Rhea Sharma and Shaheer Sheikh in the lead roles and was pretty successful and ended on 17 October 2020.
Star Plus drama show Dil Jaise Dhadke... Dhadakne Do aired on 10 February 2020 and went off-air due to corona outbreak as the shooting was suspended in the lockdown. The show featured Javed Savaille, Hirva Trivedi, Rahil Azam and Shruti Seth and ended on 27 March 2020.
Ishaaron Ishaaron Mein was a Sony Entertainment Television show that had Mudit Nayar, Simran Pareenja and Debattama Saha in the lead roles. The show was halted due to the coronavirus outbreak and the last episode aired on 31 March 2020.
Star Plus popular drama show Kasautii Zindagii Kay faced many challenges in the lockdown. From the lead actor Parth Samthan testing COVID-19 positive to casting issues, the show finally came to an end after the successful run of two years. The show ended on 3 October 2020.
Kunal Jaisingh and Aneri Vajani's show ''Pavitra Bhagya' was launched in March this year and lasted barely for six months and was pulled off-air due to low TRP. The show was premiered on Colors TV and ended on 2 October 2020.
Patiala Babes was a drama show that aired on Sony Entertainment Television and featured Ashnoor Kaur and Sourabh Raaj Jain in the lead roles. The shooting of the show was halted due to COVID-19 and later in April, it was decided to pull it off the air. The show ended on 27 March 2020.
Colors TV supernatural show Naagin 4 featured Nia Sharma, Vijayendra Kumeria, Jasmin Bhasin and Rashami Desai and was aired on 14 December 2019 to 8 August 2020. The show could not live up to the expectations of the viewers and had to taken off the air.
Star Plus Supernatural drama show Nazar 2 was also one of the TV shows that ended in 2020. The shooting of the shows was suspended due to the lockdown restrictions and the team of Nazar 2 was unable to shoot the new episodes leading to the shut down of the show. It featured Mona Lisa, Shruti Sharma and Sheezan Mohammad in lead roles.
