In 2020, several big Bollywood names marked their digital debut on the OTT platforms. Last year, names like Abhishek Bachchan, Sushmita Sen, Bobby Deol entered into the world of digital space. Now, Bollywood's A-listed stars are also fascinated with the larger than life streaming giants and all set to mark their digital debut with films and series on the OTT. After the pandemic, actors have realized that a few sections of people have completely dependent on online platforms for new films & web-series. So to gain more popularity and to act in a distinct creative content, Bollywood and regional stars are also signing digital projects. Prachi Desai: Silence
Prachi Desai is marking her digital debut with ZEE5's film 'Silence...Can You Hear It?' in which she will be seen alongside Manoj Bajpayee and Arjun Mathur. Touted to be an original suspense thriller, the film is all set to release in 2021 on ZEE5.

Kajol: Tribhanga - Tedhi Medhi Crazy
Along with other big Bollywood stars, Kajol is also making her digital debut with Netflix's film, 'Tribhanga - Tedhi Medhi Crazy'. The film is a social issue drama film set in Mumbai. Renuka Shahane's film stars Kajol, Tanvi Azmi and Mithila Palkar in the leading roles. The film revolves around the lives of three women from the same family, belonging to different generations. The film will release on January 15, 2021, on Netflix.

Comedian and actor Kapil Sharma joined hands with the streaming giant although, nothing has been disclosed about the project on whether it is a web comic-show or any film. Recently, he also shared a video of the same by keeping the project under wraps and giving hints to fans on featuring on their TV, laptop via Netflix.

Samantha Akkineni: The Family Man Season 2
Created by Raj & DK, The Family Man starred Manoj Bajpayee in the lead role and tells the story of a middle-class man who secretly works for the T.A.S.C, a fictitious branch of the National Investigation Agency. Now, the makers are releasing its second installment on Amazon Prime on February 12, 2021. In the series, Samantha Akkineni is also marking her digital debut and playing a key role. After establishing a career in the Telugu and Tamil film industries, the actress is all set to win the hearts of Hindi speaking audiences. The series will also be released in Tamil and Telugu language.

Sonakshi Sinha: Fallen
Sonakshi Sinha signed her first digital project titled 'Fallen' with Amazon Prime. In the series, she will essay the role of a female cop, which stars Vijay Varma, Sohum Shah and Gulshan Devaiah in the key roles. Helmed by Reema Kagti, the web-series shooting has already resumed in December 2020 and is expected to release in 2021.

Ajay Devgn: Luther remake
We have seen Ajay Devgn portraying the role of an honest police officer in his films where he decides to wipe out the injustice and the wrongdoings. Well, now the actor is set to be part of the Indian version of the hugely successful British psychological crime drama series 'Luther'. For this, Ajay Devgn is tipped to be playing the protagonist in the Hindi version of the BBC One crime drama. Reportedly, Devgn is in talks to remake Luther for a leading streaming media giant. In the series, Ileana D'Cruz will be seen sharing space with him.

Shahid Kapoor is also all set to mark his debut with an action-packed web-series for Amazon Prime. Raj & DK directorial series will also star South star Vijay Sethupathi and Malavika Mohanan alongside the actor. As per the reports, the action-series is titled 'Gavar' and going to be a two seasons show.

Akshay Kumar: The End
Akshay Kumar is the next Bollywood star to make his digital debut with Amazon Prime's action-packed thriller series. The multi-season show, tentatively titled The End is currently under development and nothing much has been disclosed about the project yet. But through the series, Akshay is entering into the digital world and he himself announced the news on his social media. In the series, he will be seen donning his favourite action Khiladi avatar.

Hrithik Roshan: The Night Manager remake
Based on John le Carre's acclaimed novel, 'The Night Manager' mini-series won huge acclaim when it was first released in 2016 on the BBC network. The audience loved the show which followed a hotel night manager and former British soldier called Jonathan Pine played by Tom Hiddleston. Now as per the reports, Disney plus Hotstar is all set for its Hindi adaptation and the platform has roped Hrithik Roshan to play the titular role.
