Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, where many small-scale films released on-demand debuts on the digital platforms, on the other side, big ventures were slated for 2021 release. Haathi Mere Saathi- March 26, 2021
Haathi Mere Saathi features Rana Daggubati, Vishnu Vishal, Pulkit Samrat, Shriya Pilgaonkar and Zoya Hussain in the lead roles. The film was simultaneously shot in Tamil as Kaadan, in Telugu as Aranya, and in Hindi as Haathi Mere Saathi. The film is scheduled to be released on 26 March 2021, as it was delayed from its initial release of 2 April 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic in India.

Jersey - November 5, 2021
Jersey is a remake of the Telugu sports drama film written and directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri and he has also directed the Hindi version. In the film, Shahid will feature opposite Mrunal Thakur. More about Jersey synopsis then the film revolves around a guy Arjun who is talented but a failed cricketer. He decides to return to cricket in his late thirties driven by the desire to represent the Indian cricket team and fulfill his son's wish for a jersey as a gift. The film will be released on November 5, 2021.

Dhaakad - October 1, 2021
Razneesh Ghai's spy-action flick, Kangana Ranaut will play the role of a spy agent Agni alongside Divya Dutta & Arjun Rampal in pivotal roles. The film has co-written the film with Chintan Gandhi and Rinish Ravindra and the screenplay has been written by Ritesh Shah. Dhaakad has been produced by Sohail Maklai productions and Asylum films, co-produced by Qyuki Digital Media. The film will hit the cinema halls on October 1, 2021.

Satyameva Jayate 2 - May 14, 2021
'Satyameva Jayate 2' is a vigilante action film written and directed by Milap Zaveri and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Nikkhil Advani, Monisha Advani and Madhu Bhojwani. A sequel to the 2018 film Satyameva Jayate, the film stars John Abraham and Divya Khosla Kumar. The concept is based on the fight against injustice and misuse of power. The shooting of the film began on 20 October 2020 in Lucknow. The film is scheduled to be released on May 14th, 2021, coinciding with Eid.

Radhe - Your Most Wanted Bhai - Eid, 2021
Prabhu Deva's action flick features Salman Khan, Disha Patani, Randeep Hooda and Jackie Shroff in the pivotal roles. The film was scheduled to hit the theatres on Eid, this year but has been stalled due to the coronavirus pandemic and it will hit the theatres on Eid 2021. The film is rumored to be a remake of the South Korean film 'Veteran'.

Maidaan - October 15, 2021
Amit Sharma's directed biographical sports film is based on the golden era of Indian football (1952–62) and starring Ajay Devgn as football coach Syed Abdul Rahim. In the film, The Family Man fame Priyamani will be seen playing the female lead opposite Ajay. The film will hit the cinema halls on October 15, 2021.

Sooryavanshi - March 2021 (Anticipated)
In the fourth installment of Shetty's Cop Universe, Sooryavanshi, Akshay Kumar will be seen in the titular character opposite Katrina Kaif. On the other side, Gulshan Grover, Abhimanyu Singh, Niharica Raizada, Jackie Shroff, Sikandar Kher, Nikitin Dheer, Vivan Bhatena and Javed Jaffrey will be seen in supporting roles, while Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh reprise their roles of Singham and Simmba from the franchise's previous films. The film is expected to hit the cinema halls in March 2021.

KGF: Chapter 2 - July 16, 2021
'K.G.F: Chapter 2' is an upcoming multi-lingual Pan-India project directed by Prashanth Neel. A sequel to the 2018 film K.G.F: Chapter 1, the film stars Yash in the lead reprising his role from the first film and Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt as the antagonist Adheera. The film was supposed to hit the theatres in October 2020, however, it was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and Sanjay Dutt's health issues. The film will be dubbed in Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu languages and is slated to hit the theatres on July 16, 2021.

RRR - October 13, 2021
SS Rajamouli's much-awaited film, RRR (Roudram Ranam Rudhiram), features Jr NTR and Ram Charan in the lead roles. Where Jr NTR will portray the role of Komaram Bheem, on the other side, Ram Charan will play Alluri Sitarama Raju. The action drama also features Ajay Devgn in a pivotal role. Apart from them, Rajamouli has also roped international names like Olivia Morris, Samuthirakani, Alison Doody, and Ray Stevenson. Aamir Khan will also give his voice for the Hindi dubbed version of RRR as narrator. The film is scheduled to release on October 13, 2021.
