The Bollywood film industry has witnessed a hurricane of change in the pattern of films. Interestingly, the successes have witnessed an underlying trend of international films being remade in Hindi cinema. For the past many years, Hindi films are usually inspired by either Hollywood films or South films. Now, makers are officially adapting Korean films and offering pieces of excellent content. So with this, let's have a look at some upcoming Bollywood films which are the official remakes of foreign films.

The Girl on The Train
Ribhu Dasgupta's psychological thriller stars Parineeti Chopra, Aditi Rao, Kirti Kulhari & Sammy Jonas Heaney in the pivotal roles. The film is a remake of the 2016 released Emily Blunt starrer 'The Girl on The Train' which was a hugely successful film back in the time. The Hindi remake will be released on Netflix on February 26, 2021.

The Intern
The Intern was one of those projects which were signed by Rishi Kapoor before his demise. Unfortunately, after his death, makers are finding a suitable veteran actor who can replace him. Deepika Padukone's production film, The Intern is an official Hindi remake of the 2015 released film with the same name. The film featured Robert de Niro and Anna Hathaway. As per the sources, Amitabh Bachchan will play the De Niro part in the remake. But still, no confirmation has been done by the makers.

Dhamaka - The Terror Live
In Dhamaka, Kartik will play the role of a journalist who covers the live broadcast of a terror attack in Mumbai. Ram Madhvani's action-thriller film, Mrunal Thakur will be seen opposite Kartik Aaryan. The film is an official remake of the Korean film, 'The Terror Live' (2013) directed by Kim Byung-woo. The film stars Ha Jung-woo as an ambitious news anchorman who monopolizes the live broadcast of a terrorist attack following the explosion of Mapo Bridge on the Han River, as the story unfolds within the narrow confines of a radio booth.

Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai- Veteran
Prabhu Deva's action flick features Salman Khan, Disha Patani, and Jackie Shroff in the pivotal roles. The film was scheduled to hit the theatres on Eid, this year but has been stalled due to the coronavirus pandemic and now will release on this Eid 2021. As per the reports, the film is a remake of the South Korean film 'Veteran'.

Looop Lapeta - Run Lola Run
Taapsee Pannu and Tahir Raj Bhasin starrer 'Looop Lapeta' is an official remake of German 1998 film Run Lola Run, written and directed by Tom Tykwer. In the film, Franka Potente played the titular role of Lola, the film also starred Moritz Bleibtreu. The film follows a woman who needs to obtain 100,000 Deutsche Mark in 20 minutes to save her boyfriend's life.

Blind
Shome Makhija's thriller film Blind stars Sonam Kapoor in the lead role. The film is an official remake of a South Korean film with the same name. It has also been remade in India in the Tamil language as Netrikann starring Nayanthara in the lead role and now Sonam Kapoor is playing the lead in the Hindi version. The original film plotline revolves around a blind woman who gives testimony about a hit-and-run case, then she is forced to confront the killer on her own.

Rambo
At the 70th Cannes International Film Festival, filmmaker Sidharth Anand announced the remake of Hollywood cult classic Rambo (1982), which had starred Sylvester Stallone in the leading role. For the Hindi adaptation, the director roped the action star Tiger Shroff.

Aamir Khan's untitled - Campeones
After Laal Singh Chaddha, Aamir Khan will work on the film which is an official adaptation of a Spanish film Campeones. RS Prasanna, who is well-known for Shubh Mangal Saavdhan will helm the project. The film will revolve around the journey of an arrogant and drunkard coach, who trains a team of intellectually disabled people.

Laal Singh Chaddha - Forest Gump
Advait Chandan's 'Laal Singh Chaddha' is a remake of the Hollywood film, 'Forrest Gump'. In the film, Aamir will play the role of a man with a low IQ, who recounts the early years of his life when he found himself in the middle of key historical events. But all he wants is to be reunited with his childhood sweetheart Maneela (Kareena Kapoor). The original film starred Tom Hanks, Robin Wright, Gary Sinise.
